Ice Fishing is a lot of fun and a really great way to spend a winter day in the outdoors. All ages and abilities are welcome. Trips are 4-6 hours with a heated shelter on cold days for guest use.
All fishing equipment is provided and the guide drills all the holes. Ice conditions dictate whether we fish or not. Safety is the number one priority at Covey Angling.
All ice fishing trips are catch and release unless otherwise specified.
Half Day (4 hours)
Embark on a guided ice fishing adventure with our half-day trip, lasting 4 hours. During the winter months, you’ll have the opportunity to target a variety of species, including pike, panfish, trout, bass, and many others across different bodies of water. Species pursued will be dictated by ice conditions and the regulations governing fishing seasons and bodies of water. Your guide will take you to prime fishing spots and provide all the necessary gear, including tip-ups and jigs, ensuring you have the best tools for success. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a beginner, this trip promises a fun experience on the ice!
- 4 hours (1/2 day)
- Cost: $250 for one person, $75 for each additional person up to three.
- Deposit: 50% of the cost of total trip
Whole Day (6 hours)
Geared towards the more seasoned ice fisherman, but can be for anyone willing to tough out the cold weather, our six hour trip includes everything in the half day trip, but includes more time and the use of underwater cameras to target fish.
- 6 hours (full day)
- Cost: $350 for one person, $85 for each additional person up to three.
- Deposit: 50% of the cost of total trip
